This list helps them understand that they can contribute to an optimal healthcare experience by working alongside their doctors and nurses.
AHI has dos and don’ts for visitors to ensure the safety, well-being, and infection control practices for both patients and visitors. Visitors are advised to:
Patient

Here are some guidelines that Patients and their Caregivers can follow to make their experience at AHI more comfortable and effective.
Allergies
The doctor and nurse should be informed about any allergies the patient may have.
Medicines
The doctor and nurse should be informed about all medications the patient is taking at home, including prescription drugs and supplements.
Patient Beds
Patients can use the side rails to turn in their bed and prevent falls while sleeping. They can use the call bell system to call a nurse if they need assistance.
TV and Mobile
To ensure a peaceful environment for others, it is kindly requested to keep the TV volume low and limit the usage of mobile phones.
Visiting Hours
Visitors are requested to adhere to the designated visiting hours when visiting the patient. It is essential to carry the appropriate passes, which can be obtained from the admission counter, and to present these passes to the security personnel in the elevator and on the respective floors.
Security Check
Visitors are requested to cooperate with the hospital security personnel during vehicle checks and parking to ensure safety and ease of movement within the hospital premises.
Home-made Food
For the convenience of relatives who prefer home-made food, a designated area behind the cafeteria has been allocated. Kindly seek directions from the security personnel. After use, please ensure that the area is left tidy and clean.

Flowers and Bouquets
Since they are an easy source of infection, flowers are not permitted within the hospital premises.
Smoking and Spitting
Strictly prohibited in the hospital.
Gratuity and Tips
Patients are requested to refrain from offering tips to the staff. Instead, if they wish to make a contribution, they can donate to the employee welfare fund. For more details, please contact the Nursing Director’s office at extension 6525.
Use of Staircase and Lifts
Visitors and caregivers are requested to use the designated elevator and refrain from using the staircase or service lifts.
Children
To keep them safe from contracting infections, children are not allowed to visit patients.
Outside Food
Strictly not allowed in the hospital. No exceptions will be made.
