More About International Services Facility

At AHI, our focus is to improve the patient’s experience in a foreign country and, provide comfort and convenience, and help reduce stress and anxiety during what can often be a difficult time. We help make the hospital stay smooth and assist you to make your travel and hassle free.

  • Complementary pick-up from the airport and drop with an escort by hospital staff.
  • Mobile phone along with a local SIM card on a chargeable basis.
  • Wi-Fi is available in the rooms upon request.
  • Foreign language interpreters are available upon request and for a fee.
  • We have an in-house foreign exchange counter that can assist international patients with hassle-free currency exchange/.
  • We can arrange Mumbai Darshan/sightseeing tours for patients and/or their relatives upon request.
  • We offer in-room ticket booking and visa assistance facilities.

  • Medical Visa: If you need a medical visa to travel to India, please send us your passport number and name (as they appear in your passport), along with those of the person who will accompany you. Once we get the detailed medical history and make a treatment decision, we will issue a letter to help get the medical visa.
  • Transport: AHI is located close to the domestic and international airports in Mumbai. With prior booking, we provide transport from the airport. For security reasons, we will not be able to facilitate immigration clearance. However, we will try to help in case the patient is sick and needs faster clearance.
  • Accommodation: There is a range of accommodations available near the hospital, starting from guest houses to luxury-star hotels like the Sofitel, Trident, and Grand Hyatt. We also provide accommodation for relatives in the patient room. Asian Heart Institute was the first hospital in the country to introduce the concept of seamless anti-bacterial and anti-fungal flooring in the rooms to minimise the risk of infection. All the medical facilities and rooms have been designed to give the patient a home-like experience.
  • Suite Room: This facility has an extra room where two relatives can stay with the patient.
  • Deluxe Room: This facility has single room where one relative can stay with the patient.
  • Semiprivate Room: This facility is a room that is shared with another patient. A sofa bed for one relative, laundry facilities and café are available.
  • Travel Assistance: We have tie-ups with reliable travel agents who will provide travel assistance in case you need it.
  • Payment/Money transfer: We accept various modes of payment, so you can choose the one that is most convenient for you. You can make a direct bank transfer or pay directly in foreign exchange. We have partnered with official money changers to give you the best market rates. You can reach out to our team who will facilitate the entire process.
