Dr. Wasiyeeullah Shaikh

Dr. Wasiyeeullah Shaikh, MBBS, DNB (Medicine), DNB (Nephrology) is a Nephrologist with a distinguished career in medicine. Along with Asian Heart Institute he is also associated with other renowned hospitals in Mumbai.

Dr. Shaikh completed his MBBS from KJ Somaiya Medical College, Mumbai and pursued DNB – Medicine from Maharashtra Medical Foundation – Pune, India. He gained experience at Jagjivan Ram Western Railway Hospital before specialising in Nephrology with DNB from Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai.

With over eight years of clinical experience, Dr. Shaikh is dedicated to patient care and mentors fellows in Nephrology. His interests lie in Interventional and Clinical Nephrology, and he was a guest faculty and host at the AVATAR conference. He has published articles in Nephrology journals and serves as a reviewer for Nephrology and Urology journals.
