Dr. Rajiv Karnik MBBS, MD (Medicine), DM (Cardiology), is a highly experienced Cardiologist with more than 40 years of dedicated service in the field. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Rashtria Ratna Award in 2002, in India.
He has also been honoured with multiple gold medals for his outstanding academic achievements. These include the Dowager Lady Patkar Gold Medal and the Pfizer Gold Medal in Medicine for his MBBS degree exam in 1978. He was also awarded the Dr. Chunibhai Patel Gold Medal for his MD degree exam and the Dr. Ivan Pinto Gold Medal for his DM degree exam in 1984. The K. K. Datey Gold Medal and the Jaswantsinghji Limbdi Gold Medal were also conferred upon him.
Dr. Karnik’s contributions to the field of Cardiology extend beyond his impressive academic achievements. He is a fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Intervention and an international fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. Additionally, he holds professional memberships in the American Heart Association, the American Stroke Association, and the American College of Cardiology.
