Dr. Nileena Nath MBBS, MD (TB and Respiratory Medicine) is a Consultant Pulmonologist with expertise in Respiratory Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Critical Care Management. She holds an MD in TB and Respiratory Medicine from Amala Institute of Medical Sciences and an MBBS from Govt Medical College Kozhikode. Dr. Nath also obtained a European diploma in Adult Respiratory Medicine.
Her areas of expertise include Fibro Optic Bronchoscopy, TBLB and TBNA, Medical Thoracoscopy and Pleurodesis, Polysomnography, and Critical Care Management. She has experience in managing patients with pulmonary diseases on both outpatient and inpatient basis, as well as perioperative management of Cardiac patients with Lung Diseases.
Dr. Nath has held positions as an Assistant Professor at Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, where she trained postgraduates and managed patients with Pulmonary Diseases. Previously, she worked as a Senior Resident in the Department of Respiratory Medicine and as an Intensivist in the General Intensive Care Unit.
She is a lifetime member of professional associations such as the Academy of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, the Chest Council of India, the Indian Chest Society, and a member of the European Respiratory Society. Dr. Nath has presented papers and participated in conferences and workshops, contributing to research and publications in her field.
