Dr. Nilay Patel, MBBS, MD, DM(Cardiology), DNB(Cardiology) is an exceptional Cardiologist with a remarkable career of seven years in the field of Cardiology. After achieving a Gold medal in his Internal Medicine residency, he completed his Interventional Cardiology degree at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) Kochi, one of India’s premier Cardiology institutes.
Dr. Patel worked at U N Mehta Institute of Cardiac Sciences and Research Centre at Ahmedabad – Asia’s largest Cardiac Care hospital with a high-volume caseload. Subsequently, he also has the distinction of completing the Diplomat in National Board examinations (DNB).
He recently underwent training in Transcatheter Heart Valves Therapies – TAVR, Mitral Valve Interventions, Tricuspid Valve interventions, and Structural Heart Diseases – LA Appendage closure, PFO Closure, Peripheral Interventions, and Endovascular interventions in Italy, keeping up with the latest advancements in the field.
He is a member of the European Society of Cardiology, an associate member of the American Society of Echocardiography and has presented papers at these conferences. He is also trained in Cardiac imaging and Cardiac MRIs.
